LEXICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF FEAR POLICY: BY MATERIAL OF ENGLISH PRESS HEADLINES

Abstract. The author considers a relatively new direction fear policy from the linguistic point of view, tells that the media help to realize aggression and arouse fear (the desired result), conducts the lexical analysis of the English-language headlines in order to determine the semantic dominants of manipulation, and as a result of the lexical-semantic analysis emphasizes the range of the themes exploited with manipulative purposes.
