AUTHORIAL PATTERN EXPRESSION MEANS IN ANALYTICAL MEDIA TEXT (COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF RUSSIAN AND ENGLISH LANGUAGES)

Abstract. The author researches the linguistic means of "authorial pattern" expression within the framework of analytical media text, determines a number of linguistic means, which authors use to emphasize their presence and to express their opinion in the English-language analytical comment, pays particular attention to the comparative analysis of authorial modality means in the English and Russian languages, and presents the similarities and differences in the use of modal constructions in two languages from the perspectives of semantics and pragmatics.
