SPATIAL LEXICAL ITEMS: OBJECTIVE AND SUBJECTIVE FUNCTIONAL DETERMINATION (BY MATERIALS OF THE MIDDLE OB DIALECTS)

Abstract. The article considers the spatial world model through the analysis of lexical items with the meaning "far", "close" by materials of the Middle Ob dialects. For the first time the research shows by example of dialect material the semantics and functioning peculiarities of spatial vocabulary considering the correlation of the objective and subjective factors in spatial parameters stated by a semantic opposition "far – close". The research was made in a linguocultural aspect. The author proves that the subjective factor predominates in defining a distance measure and consequently in the choice of lexical means for the distance characterization.
