PERFORMANCE AND REALITY ADAPTATION FOR THE STAGE AS PRINCIPLES OF TEXT SPACE ORGANIZATION IN STORY "THE FUNERAL PARTY" BY L. E. ULITSKAYA

Abstract. The article interprets the various aspects of performance poetics in the contemporary Russian literature by the material of the story "The Funeral Party" by L. E. Ulitskaya. It is traced how performance in its diverse manifestations including the modelling of special performance space, reality adaptation for the stage, playing behaviour of characters – forms an implicit plot core of the work, transforming a realistic text.
