WILL – INTENTION – ATTEMPT: PERSEVERANCE IN SYSTEM OF LANGUAGE CATEGORIZATION (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE)

Abstract. The article is an integrative approach to the language representation of the category "WILL" in the English language. A volitional act involves a number of stages: the intention to perform an act, an attempt to realize this intention, and the perseverance in achieving the result. This category is explicated by a set of different lexical means that is conditioned by its multi-aspect nature.
