SEMANTICS OF MUSICAL CODE IN B. K. ZAITSEV’S WORKS OF THE 1900S

Abstract. The article reveals the features of musical code reception in B. K. Zaitsev’s works of the 1900s. "Semantic units" of musical code are sound, concepts of quiet and silence, which form the dialogue between a man and eternity. The research of the writer’s artistic heritage in terms of musical code can more fully reveal the semantic field of the works and, more broadly, present S. B. Zaitsev in line with the synthesis of the arts as a writer of neo-realist orientation.
