WORD-FORMATIVE CATEGORIZATION OF GIVING INDICATION IN UKRAINIAN AND ENGLISH LANGUAGES

Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of the categorization methods of giving action indication with the help of word-formative means in the Ukrainian and English languages. The important role of reality word-formative categorization in the languages being compared is emphasized. The derivational models of the realization of the word-formative category "giving indication" in the Ukrainian language and their semantic-functional equivalents in the English language are determined. Similar traits and differences in the word-formative categorization of giving indication in the mentioned languages are ascertained on the basis of the conducted comparison.
