MOUNTAINS PERSONIFICATION IN NOVEL "PETER KAMENTSIND" BY HERMANN HESSE

Abstract. The author presents the results of the personification research of Hermann Hesse, who was the famous Swiss-German writer of the XX th century, as artistic-expressive means; by the example of the novel "Peter Kamentsind" reveals the cognitive-pragmatic characteristics of personification, and ascertains that by means of this figure of speech the concept "spiritual experiences" is commonly explicated in this work.
