LANGUAGE REPRESENTATION OF ADDRESSER’S AND RECIPIENT’S CATEGORIES IN MARI CONSPIRACY TEXTS

Abstract. The author researches the verbal component of the Mari conspiracy, reveals the relation between recipient’s and addresser’s categories in the Mari pagan conspiracy texts with conspiracies content and purpose, as well as their linguistic peculiarities, and ascertains that recipient’s and addresser’s categories have a direct impact on conspiracy text tonality (request or order, threat or deception), the choice of language means, and vice versa, the explicitness/implicitness of these categories depends on the purposes of the text.
