GENRE OF "SOVIET ODE" IN LEBEDEV-KUMACH’S CREATIVE WORK

Abstract. The author tells that local texts are of particular interest to contemporary literary criticism, mentions that today among them the Volga River text is insufficiently studied, and analyzing its fragments – classicistic and socialist realistic, represented by the works of I. Dmitriev "To the Volga" (1794) and V. Lebedev-Kumach "Song of the Volga" (1937) correspondingly, comes to the conclusion that they are typologically similar.
