IDEA ABOUT HAPPINESS IN LITERATURE OF YAKUT PEOPLES

Abstract. The author covers the features of the idea about happiness in the literature of Yakut peoples, tells that happiness is associated with wealth as well as with the possibility of personality’s self-realization, pays attention to the relationship of the notion "happiness" with national mentality, mentions that folk motifs are widely used for revealing this subject in works of fiction, and concludes that the realization of happiness as psychological state is represented in legends, beliefs put on paper in the works of writers of the North.
