CODE SWITCHING AS STYLISTIC DEVICE AND EXPRESSION MEANS IN MODERN JOURNALISTIC TEXTS

Abstract. The author considers such language notion as code switching, which is understood as the use of units from different levels of one language in statements of another one, not violating the basic language grammar, and serves as a stylistic device or expression means in modern texts of the Russian magazines, and also tells about the pragmatic functions of this linguistic phenomenon in journalism.
