DIFFERENT APPROACHES TO POLITICAL DISCOURSE RESEARCH

Abstract. The article is devoted to the research of political discourse, which is considered within the framework of a new direction in modern linguistics – political linguistics. Basing on the achievements of native and foreign scientists the different approaches to the political discourse research are revealed, which do not contradict each other and can be used comprehensively to get more accurate results. The article also considers the most important stages in the formation of political linguistics.
