PATTERNS OF ENGLISH-LANGUAGE COMPUTER TERMS ASSIMILATION IN THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE DEPENDING ON WAYS OF THEIR FORMATION IN SOURCE LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article considers the ways of the English computer vocabulary Russification depending on the ways of its formation in the source language. The connection between the structures of etymon and its equivalent in the language-recipient is analyzed. The high intensity of language processes within the framework of computer-mediated communication allows tracing the topical patterns of modern Anglicisms assimilation in the best way. The importance of elaborating the lexicological status of terms is substantiated, and many of them are beyond computer jargon and require description and adequate fixation in the dictionary.
