CONCEPT "MELANCHOLY" IN F. M. DOSTOYEVSKY’S INDIVIDUAL STYLE

Bokova Oksana Aleksandrovna
Lipetsk State Pedagogical University

Abstract. In the article the representation of the Russian national-specific concept "melancholy" in F. M. Dostoyevsky’s individual style (by the example of the novels "Crime and Punishment", "The Brothers Karamazov", "Demons", "The Adolescent") is considered in detail. On the basis of the conducted research the author concludes that the writer does not only show the signs of this concept, which are typical of the Russian language world picture, but fills it with new components of meaning that allows speaking of deep penetration into the Russian folk mentality and referring the concept "melancholy" to the individual author’s concepts of F. M. Dostoyevsky.
Key words and phrases: менталитет, особенности национального менталитета, концепт "тоска", индивидуально-авторский концепт, национально-специфичный концепт, mentality, features of national mentality, concept "melancholy", individual author’s concept, national-specific concept
