INTERPRETATION OF FOLK DEMONOLOGY IMAGES IN WORKS OF A. M. REMIZOV

Abstract. The article is devoted to the interpretation of folk demonology images in the works of Aleksei Mikhailovich Remizov. By the material of the storybook "Posolon'" (1907) an analysis of the genesis, essence and functioning of the demonic characters in the artistic space of the author’s text is presented. Particular attention is paid to the images of a "personal" mythology of the writer, and their role in A. M. Remizov’s mythopoetics.
