IMAGE OF THE SUN IN CREATIVE WORK OF WRITERS OF YAKUTIA

Abstract. The image of the sun is very common in the literature of the peoples of Yakutia. This tradition originates from the folklore, but in modern texts gets a new interpretation that is traced in this article. The use of the sun image allows the Yakut authors conveying the psychological state of the characters, their attitude towards the events, and portraying more vividly the described phenomena.
