SOURCES OF FASHIONABLE NEOLOGISMS IN THE MODERN CHINESE LANGUAGE

Abstract. Linguistic fashion became an object of research of the world linguistics at the boarder of the XX-XXI centuries, the works of Russian and foreign linguists are devoted to investigating the phenomenon of fashionable words. Fashionable neologisms are the dynamic words of modernity depending on socio-cultural changes. The article is focused on investigating the factors influencing the origin of fashionable neologisms in the modern Chinese language, studying the sources for updating the vocabulary of the Chinese language by the fashionable linguistic elements.
