HISTORY OF FORMATION OF THE CONCEPT "HUMOUR" IN THE ASPECT OF ITS DISTINCTION FROM THE RELATED PHENOMENA

Stefankova Larisa Nikolaevna
Southern Federal University

Abstract. In the cognitive and discourse studies the comical is analyzed as a linguo-mental aspect of a personal picture of the world. The comical is synonymized with the humorous where under investigation is a humorous discourse and its status features: humorous intention, tonality, humorous model of behaviour; a comical speech act is considered as a paradoxic. Laughter or the appropriate psychological emotions (wonder, joy) are represented as a purposeful perlocutionary effect of a humorous text. Wit also shares with a humour the illocutionary power of comicalness, that’s why it may be considered as a manifestation of humorous effect in the text. Irony not always has a humorous nature.
