NAMES OF ANIMALS IN "ARABIC-TURKIC DICTIONARY (XVI CENTURY)"

Abstract. Bilingual dictionaries are intended to facilitate the interpretation of texts. To date, a series of written records of this type has been studied, but sufficient attention has not been paid to the record of the XVI century - "Arabic-Turkic Dictionary". This source contains significant information on phonetics and morphology of the Tatar language. The dictionary conveys to us the wealth of lexical material of its era. A cattle vocabulary of "Arabic-Turkic Dictionary (XVI century)" has been first registered in this paper.
