INTER-COGNITIVE INTERACTIONS IN CROSS-CULTURAL COMMUNICATION

Abstract. The article is devoted to the theoretical problems of cross-cultural communication. Cross-cultural interactions in multi-ethnic environment are presented as complicated, complex relationships, including, along with interlingual contacts and contacts at the level of culture semiotics, inter-cognitive interactions (world views, mentalities, "ethno-specific consciousness" in a situation of cognitive pluralism). All these types of interactions represent the interrelation of the triad components "language - culture - thinking", and cross-cultural communication is considered as the interaction of contacting triads.
