Sal'nikova Vera Vladimirovna
Bashkir State University (Branch) in Birsk

Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of zoonyms as elements that represent a substantive fragment of child’s worldview. The author considers the thematic groups of zoonyms in the Russian art autobiographical literature about childhood; reveals the frequency of using zoonyms in the language worldview of the main characters in the works; and analyzes the features of this vocabulary functioning in the language of a child. The method of contextual and comparative analysis and the method of dictionary definitions are used in the description of linguistic units. The author uses the texts of the novels "Nikita’s Childhood" by A. N. Tolstoy, "Tyoma’s Childhood" by N. G. Garin-Mikhailovsky, and "The Last Tribute" by V. Astafyev as the material for analysis. Basing on the analysis the conclusion is made about the coincidence of the key points of child’s linguistic worldview represented in the works of different authors.
