SUBSTANTIVIZED ADJECTIVES IN THE MODERN GERMAN LANGUAGE: SEMANTICS AND SYNTACTIC FUNCTIONS

Abstract. The article continues the research of adjective-based nouns in the modern German language. It shows the results of the analysis of substantivized adjectives forms, assignable semantic groups and the examples of such nouns functioning in a sentence. The article evaluates the productivity of the substantivizing model for the semantic groups of substantivized adjectives.
