INTERACTION OF THE CATEGORIES OF TAXIS AND TEMPORALITY

Abstract. The article examines the problem of interaction between the categories of temporality and taxis by the material of the modern English language. Inter-categorial interaction is investigated at the cognitive level, level of linguistic meaningful categorization and in the system of grammatical categories. The author concludes that the categories of taxis and temporality are interrelated at the level of linguistic realization, so we can identify the intersection areas of both nuclear and peripheral components.
