CONSTRUCTION VOCABULARY IN THE METAPHORICAL REPRESENTATION OF A CONCEPTUAL SPHERE "HUMAN BEING AS A BIOLOGICAL CREATURE" IN THE ENGLISH AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES

Abstract. The article examines metaphorical representation of a conceptual sphere "Human being as a biological creature" using metaphorically reconsidered construction vocabulary of the English and Russian languages. On the basis of the conducted comparative analysis of the means for metaphorical representation of the investigated conceptual sphere the author distinguishes conceptual metaphors typical for both languages.
