STEREOTYPE AS FRAGMENT OF LINGUISTIC WORLD-IMAGE

Abstract. The paper considers the stereotype as a constituent part of the linguistic world-image. As a result of the analysis the author argues that the basis of modern linguistic developments is the definition of the underlying processes and phenomena of languages systems, the laws of structuring meanings through the perception of human activity and the world-image created on its basis. Searches for national identity determine linguistic works orientation at language consideration in connection and interaction with history, culture, ethnogenesis, national psychology and at the analysis of evaluation standards, by which concepts categorization occurs. The most striking example of applying such empirical experience in speech is the stereotype as a fragment of the linguistic world-image.
