Abstract. The article is devoted to developing the scientific-based and practice-proved methods of forming the foreign language lexical competence of gymnasium senior students with the help of dramatized activity. The formation levels of this competence are defined and the criteria and indexes of their assessment are suggested. Practice teaching data are given.
