ON POSSIBILITIES OF EXPRESSING VERB ASPECT IN GERMAN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article presents a survey of some possibilities for expressing a category of verb aspect in German language. Herewith the author takes as a basis the trinomial aspect structure. The paper emphasizes that the German Progressive is grammatically expressed and is widely represented in the colloquial and literary language. Ways of expressing the opposition perfective/ imperfective are various.
