LEXICO-STYLISTIC USE OF COLLOQUIAL-LITERARY AND VERNACULAR VOCABULARY IN WORKS OF V. KOLUMB

Abstract. The article sets the task to consider colloquial-literary and vernacular vocabulary used by the well-known Mari poet Valentin Kolumb in his works. His works made a great impact on the Mari literary language in the second half of the XX century but up to this day it remains understudied. The lexico-stylistic analysis of V. Kolumb’s poetry language gives an opportunity to detect the peculiarities of usage of colloquial-literary and vernacular vocabulary that allows in its turn determining the lexico-stylistic opportunities of the modern Mari language.
