DIASYSTEMIC PECULIARITIES OF THE PHONETIC-GRAPHICAL VARIANTS IAU~EAU IN CENTRAL FRENCH SCRIPTS

Abstract. The article represents diasystemic peculiarities of phonetic-graphical variants iau~eau (reflex -?LLOS,-?LLIS) in the texts of the charters of the XIII century executed in Central French scriptoria. The author identified and proved a necessity for the analysis of diachronic (historical), diatopic (regional) and diastratic (social) variability under investigation of issues of developing the French literary norm.
