PRAGMATIST MODEL OF ORGANIZING STUDENTS SELF-STUDY IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE IN THE NON-LINGUISTIC HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTE

Abstract. The article describes the pragmatist model of organizing students self-study in foreign language in the non-linguistic higher education institute. This model includes motivational and stimulating, analytical-synthetic and executive stages. Foreign reading represents itself as a basic method for implementation of self-study. The tasks vary from the reproductive ones to creative. The basic means of organizing self-study are informational and communication technologies and Internet technologies.
