ANTHROPOMORPHOUS METAPHORICAL MODELS OF THE CONCEPT "MECHANISM"

Abstract. The article is dedicated to the description of anthropomorphous image of a conceptual sphere "mechanism" by the example of the lexical units indicating vehicles. The author identifies the basic regularities of metaphorical transfers under figurative modeling of the conceptual sphere "mechanism". The investigation is carried out on the methodological basis of cognitive linguistics and conducted by the material of the texts of the National corpus of the Russian language, metaphorically interpreting mechanisms - vehicles through the image of a human being.
