THE JAPANESE ILLOCUTIONARY VERBS IN NOTE USE: RESEARCH PROSPECTS

Abstract. The article basing on the material of journalistic texts substantiates the significance of studying illocutionary verbs to clarify the speech act taxonomy of statements in the Japanese language with access to the creation of communicative-oriented model of their interpretation. The ways of their analysis taking into account the phenomenon of "quasi quotation", which can be defined as a special transitional level between direct and indirect speech, typical of the Japanese texts of various functional styles, are suggested.
