LINGUISTIC METHODS FOR INTERRUPTIONS IMPLEMENTATION IN ORAL DISCOURSE (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE AMERICAN AND RUSSIAN TV AND RADIO INTERVIEWS)

Abstract. This article is devoted to the consideration of speech interruptions within the framework of the American and Russian Radio and TV interviews. The paper shows interruption types and determines the means of their linguistic and paralinguistic representation. The interruptions in question are subjected to a contrastive pragmatic analysis. Besides, this research reveals the features of linguistic implementation of intrusive interruptions across the Russian interviews.
