MYTHOLOGICAL AND EPIC MOTIVES IN THE ROMANTIC WRITTEN DASTAN OF THE TATARS ABOUT LEILA AND MADZHNUN

Abstract. The subjects of the romantic written dastans originate in the literary sources. The author considers the Tatar folk version of the dastan about Leila and Madzhnun as a literary whole performing the role of a connector between the individual and traditional typical principles. The researcher on the basis of the presented examples reveals the folkloric essence of the Tatar written dastans.
