COMMUNICATIVE-PRAGMATIC ASPECTS OF CONCESSIVE DISCOURSE

Abstract. The article considers the possibility of using cognitive-matrix analysis for the description of the communicative-pragmatic aspects of concessive discourse. Special attention is paid to the cognitive, communicative and social coordinates of the multidimentional cognitive matrix. Concessive discourse is oriented to contact maintenance, it is based on speech actions, communicants’ interpersonal relationships, their intention, emotional state also plays an important role.
