THE SEMANTIC AND STYLISTIC ASPECTS OF CATEGORY "QUALITY" REPRESENTATION BY THE MATERIAL OF ELECTRONIC DICTIONARIES

Abstract. In the article semantic and stylistic peculiarities of the adjective representation of the category "quality" are considered. Main attention is drawn to the use of new methods of language and linguistic representations research such as electronic dictionaries which allow conducting research on mass data. As a material of the research the units of the English language with a glance to the regional variants are chosen. The author analyzes adjectives from the position of single/multiple meaning.
