THE METAPHORICAL MEANS OF SACRALIZATION OF SPATIAL COORDINATES IN THE NOVEL BY F. M. DOSTOYEVSKY "DEMONS"

Abstract. The article from the new methodological positions presents a linguistic description of the creative methaphorics by F. M. Dostoyevsky manifesting itself not only in the central and peripheral images of the novels but also in the spatial coordinates, in particular, the novel "Demons". The investigation of Dostoyevsky’s Christian creative work from the metaphorical viewpoint is a novelty for modern philology and can become one more instrument for interpreting the writer’s world outlook and, consequently, a new method for understanding the writer’s final works.
