SOCIOLINGUISTIC COMPONENT OF TEACHING AS A MEANS OF INCREASING MOTIVATION IN FOREIGN LANGUAGES STUDY IN A NON-LINGUISTIC HIGHER EDUCATION ESTABLISHMENT

Abstract. The article is aimed at grounding the necessity of the use of sociolinguistic component of foreign languages teaching in a non-linguistic higher education establishment, identifying its role in increasing students' motivation, so long as the knowledge of norms of behaviour, values, rules of communication and other socially and culturally conditioned realia is necessary for the choice of the correct speech register.
