THE REALIZATION OF ASPECTUAL MEANINGS OF MULTIPLICITY BY THE FORM OF THE PRESENT TENSE IN THE FRENCH LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article touches upon the peculiarities of realization of aspectual meanings by the form of the present tense in the French language. In appropriate contextual conditions the present could represent all meanings of multiplicity and this confirms its quantitative temporal-aspectual meaning of unlimited duration and qualitatively temporal polyfunctionality.
