PSEUDO-DIALOGUE AS MANIPULATIVE TECHNIQUE

Abstract. The article describes the linguistic aspect of one of the little-studied to date techniques of a manipulative strategy - a pseudo-dialogue. The notion of a pseudo-dialogue has repeatedly become the object of psychology, legal rhetoric, political science, however, according to our data, the linguistic aspect of this phenomenon is insufficiently studied. After analyzing a number of examples, the author presents the main linguistic components of a pseudo-dialogue. Basing on the conducted linguistic research of the notion of manipulation and the notion of a pseudo-dialogue the author considers it necessary to classify a pseudo-dialogue of manipulative techniques.
