Abstract. The article considers the communicative situation of straight talk. The notions of "communicative situation" and "communicative event" are distinguished, basing on the selected parameters in the model of a communicative situation the prototypical communicative situation of straight talk is described, and the variants of the analyzed situation realization are considered.
