TOPOLOGY OF THE MODERN RUSSIAN DISCOURSE OF FASHION

Abstract. The article is devoted to identifying the specifics of the modern Russian discourse of fashion based on the translated and adapted for the Russian audience English texts of the Russian versions of international glossy magazines, popular science editions on the history and theory of fashion and literary works. The research is executed by the example of the comparison of the original English version of the popular science issue "How to Read Fashion" and its translation into Russian. The comparison is made on the basis of the methods of philological topology.
