ON THE METHODOLOGY OF LINGUISTIC DESCRIPTION OF A DISCOURSE: A TEXT-CENTERED MODEL

Abstract. The article attempts to substantiate a text-centered discourse model, which allows describing the text as "a product" of a discourse in the projection of its institutional and immanent-speech parameters. The methodology of such a description presupposes on the one hand the support of a linguistic and stylistic text organization, on the other hand - it is oriented on the revealing macro structural components in it, conditioned by the discourse environment. The developed model on the material of news media texts may find application in the description of various texts of institutional discourses.
