TEXT AS REPRESENTING INDICATOR OF LINGUISTIC PERSONALITY’S COGNITIVE STYLE

Abstract. The article is devoted to the consideration of the text as a space of representation of linguistic personality’s cognitive style features. It is asserted that in linguistic notion of "cognitive style" it’s necessary to refer to the discursive activity of a linguistic personality. It is concluded that the specificity of linguistic personality’s cognitive style is manifested in the objectification of his individual world view in the text/discourse and the usage of preferred set of cognitive operations of presentation, structuring and evaluation of provided information.
