ON THE PROBLEM OF PROSODIC INTERFERENCE OF THE TYPOLOGICALLY UNRELATED LANGUAGES (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE FRENCH AND MARI LANGUAGES)

Ivanova Iraida Gennad'evna, Egoshina Rita Aleksandrovna
Mari State University

Abstract. The article provides an experimental phonetic study on the influence of the native (Mari) language on the melodics of the certain communicative types of French phrases. The authors focus on frequency variation of the basic tone because this prosodic phenomenon is an acoustic foundation of intonation. The melodics of the mentioned languages on the whole is of universal nature, but the instrumental analysis indicates the melodic errors in the Mari students’ speech due to the interference phenomenon.
