THE KEYWORD "JOURNEY" IN WORKS OF "FANTASY" GENRE: TRANSLATION ASPECT

Abstract. The article discusses the specificity of works of "fantasy" genre in the translation aspect, namely the means of realization of the keyword "journey" in J. R. R. Tolkien’s linguistic world-image. The author investigates the linguistic personality of the translator as the carrier of the ethno-linguistic information not always relevant to his culture and enabling to characterize the linguistic world-image of the creator of the secondary text.
