Abstract. The article examines the problem of structuring the derivatives of a polysemantic word. The author aims to prove that word-formative clusters (WC) with the top - polysemant should be interpreted as the divergent clusters representing multi-dimensional configuration formed by WC of the sememes of this polysemantic lexeme. On the basis of the conducted analysis the researcher justifies the necessity to distinguish word-formative clusters (WC) of the lexemes and sememes, argues for the possibility to identify the divergent word-formative clusters.
