RUSSIAN PERFECTIVE VERBAL PREFIXES IN COMPARISON WITH THE COMPONENTS OF ENGLISH ANALYTICAL VERBAL LEXEMES

Abstract. The paper characterizes the conception of eurysemy on the basis of the prefixal verbs in the Russian language and analytical verbal lexemes in the English language. The author makes a linguistic comparison of the linguistic units under analysis, concludes on the typological symmetry of the prefixal verbs in the Russian language (synthetic word formation) and analytical verbal lexemes in the English (analytical lexeme formation), at that in the English language Russian related prefixes correspond to eurysemic verbs or postpositions, which also function as grammatical markers of effectiveness, limitidness and perfectiveness.
