DIALEСTAL VOCABULARY OF THEMATIC GROUP "HUNTING" IN SHALAKUSHA NATIVE SPEECH

Abstract. The analysis of language context in Arkhangelsk North is closely connected with the history of exploration of this area. The article points out the history of exploration of the territory of Shalakusha settlement, which, being a part of Nyandoma district of the Arkhangelsk region, is a bright constituent of the language field of Near Arctic space in the Arkhangelsk North, it also includes dialectal lexical units, reflecting the realia of traditional popular occupation of indigenous population of Arkhangelsk North, in particular the vocabulary connected with hunting. The authors come to the conclusion that the most frequent dialectal lexical peculiarities exist in the speech of the natives.
